Big Wins for Region 5 Whiskey! Our 9-Year Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey is now officially an award-winning spirit. It struck Gold at the American Distilling Institute’s (ADI) International Spirits Competition and even captured a prestigious Double Gold from The Enthusiast Report. This kind of achievement puts Region 5’s 9-Year bourbon among the whiskey elite, and we couldn’t be more proud.
Not to be outdone, our 6-Year Small Batch Bourbon also brought home some hardware. It earned a Silver medal at the ADI International Spirits Competition and Gold from The Enthusiast Report. Securing these awards is no small feat – it's a testament to this bourbon’s exceptional quality and character.

THE HISTORY
In northwest Indiana, five bourbon enthusiasts, brought together by a local whiskey group, formed "Region 5" to honor their origins. Their shared passion led them on a quest for exceptional barrels. Each bottle tells the story of their friendship, their quest for perfection, and the spirit of the region they call home.
HOW IT’S MADE
Our team has collectively been selecting barrels for over 24 years. Our extensive experience and diverse palates ensure that each selection is made with the utmost care and consideration.
We meticulously search for and select the best barrels available. This process involves evaluating numerous factors such as the mash bill, age of the whiskey, barrels used and the specific conditions under which the whiskey has been aged.
Once the barrels have been selected we blend and proof as needed to craft an even better whiskey. We aim to highlight the unique flavors and aromas that each barrel contributes and then ensure the overall flavor, mouthfeel, and drinkability of the whiskey meets our standards.
Our dedication to quality and craftsmanship is reflected in every bottle we bring to the market. We take pride in offering whiskeys that are not only of the highest quality but also embody the rich heritage and distinct characteristics of Region 5.
